‘Fasten Up Your Future’ Commended at CIHT Awards 2024
Earlier this year, Nicola and Holly attended the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) #2024CIHTAwards where SoMoCo and Transport for West Midlands innovative campaign to increase seatbelt wearing among South Asian communities in Birmingham, was commended for a second year. This fantastic result would never have been achieved without the efforts for ~100 young people from South Asian communities in Birmingham and community collaborators, each bringing boundless insight, energy and commitment.
Further to this, the project was shortlisted for CIHT’s West Midlands Regional Awards 2024. The team celebrated these achievements with Darren Divall and Mark Corbin from @TransportForWM.
